Chair Hangers?

Now, someone got very creative with hanging their clothes! I think it's so cute and fun. I'm sure they would be easy to make too. Just saw off the top of a chair and screw a hole to but the wire hook in. These could be used as decoration too! Just hang them on the wall to give it that unique touch that your wall has been longing for. :)

I got the idea to make this from: http://www.homelife.com.au/ , which is a wonderful site to find the greatest ideas for decorating and many home projects.

This is a fun and easy project where you can't really go wrong! The best part is, I didn't have to go out and buy any of the materials because I found everything right at home. I used paper lunch bags, plastic grocery bags, orange and ivory construction paper, music paper, and floral fabric from a dress I don't wear anymore.

What You Need:

-circular object to trace circles (I used a tupperware lid)

-paper (as listed above) use anything you can think of!

-string/ribbon (I used curling ribbon)

-yarn

-safety pin

-something to make a hole through the papers ( I used a nail and a pencil)

The first thing to do is trace the circle onto the papers and cut the circles out. Make a hole in the middle of the circles. Then string about ten circles on the string using a safety pin to guide the string through the circles. Crumple them up and shape them into flower-like -shapes. And make sure that five of them are crumpled in the opposite direction. Next, take the yarn and tie a little bow on each end of the flower so it stays in place. Keep repeating this process until you're happy with the length. Be creative with the different kinds of paper you use, and have fun!

I love finding random cool things in thrift stores and creating them into something special. I found this hanging lamp at a thrift store for only $5! I was so excited to see what I could do with this. My lovely boyfriend gave me the idea to weave and tie some ribbons onto it. So I got some of my fabric (pastels/florals) and cut it into strips. I then tied them onto the lamp in a sorta-kinda-pattern. This didn't take too long, and it was a very fun project.

Instead of looking at things with only one perspective, take a look at it again; see what you could do with a simple/cheap object and how you could turn it into something beautiful.

Be creative! Make your own vintage dresser!

I came across this cute turquoise vintage dresser that I love! With it's popping red handle knobs, bright turquoise color, and vintage appeal; it totally caught my attention. It reminded me of something I made similar to this dresser:

All you need is:

-turquoise paint

-sand paper

-hammer, sharp utensils

-wood stainer

And all you have have to do is paint it, beat the heck out of it, and roughen it up with anything you can think of. Very fun and easy to do instead of wasting money on a ridiculously priced vintage piece!
