Mexicana

A snapshot from our apartment & newly added mexican textile we found on our travels in Puerto Vallarta.  I was trying to hunt down the best textile blanket while we were there and I finally stumbled upon this beauty.   It was one of the highlights from the trip because the lovely lady I bought it from invited us to eat in her tiny restaurant inside the shop.  There were about three tables and a very small kitchen five feet away.  They took our orders and I got two tacos with a bottled coca-cola. She also made fresh salsa right when we sat down. Let's just say it was the best mexican food of my life. A great experience and a memory I will never forget!

Places I wish I were right now...

Lately I've been dreaming of being in a place like one of these. Somewhere on a countryside far away from everyone and everything; a place to relax, breathe, and explore.  Well maybe once school is over this will be me and my husband's first destination ( I hope) or just anywhere than where I am now. 

Breakfast dates are the best.

My first time at the "Original Pancake House." Connor and I both got their pumpkin waffles topped with cinnamon sugar, walnuts. and whipped cream.  It was to die for! Good thing I live only a few blocks away from this treasure.

P.S.  I decided that I need to start posting again. Sorry to those of you who visit my blog- I've been so busy with school and life that I didn't have the time and effort to post things. But I really want to start again... it's a good habit to get into I think.
